Hare & tortoise - tale of 21st century

Let us leave the boring and fractious debate on India vs pakistan, Islam Vs Hindus etc etc and focus on something less emotional and more practical and something which will change the face of the globe in the coming century

The 21st century is being touted as the century of Asia in general and India and China in particular. There are numerous studies which predict that by 2020 China and India will emerge as the 2nd and 3rd largest economies.

Beyond this there are predictions that China will surpass US in size by 2050. However there are predictions that by 2010 chinas growth rate will start going down while indias will be rising and in the long run we may even overtake China in economoic size.
